Job Summary
Manage one Westwood Club location by ensuring programs align with quality standards, promoting student membership, and assisting the Club Director with recruiting and supervising staff. Perform administrative and operational tasks while cultivating relationships with local businesses, school officials, parents, and community agencies. Maintain building safety and cleanliness, and serve as a role model for youth. Work Monday through Friday during the school year (2pm–7pm) or summer shift (8am–5pm). This part-time role offers paid time off, holidays, training, and advancement opportunities for a candidate with a bachelor's degree and experience in youth program supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree in related field from an accredited college or university
- 1 year work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the development needs of young people
- Demonstrated ability in personnel supervision, facilities management, and the recruitment and retention of key personnel
- Ability to recruit, train, supervise & motivate staff
- Effective communication skills both oral and written
- Demonstrated ability in working with young people, parents, and community leaders
- Valid State Driver's License
- CPR certification (or obtain within 6 month of hire)
- Background check clearance
- Drug test clearance
- Part-Time position availability
- Monday through Friday availability
- School Year shift availability (approx. 2pm-7pm, Aug-May)
- Summer Shift availability (approx 8am-5pm, June 1-Aug 15)
