Job Summary
MSN-prepared pediatric adjunct clinical instructor for undergraduate nursing programs at Goodwin University. Weekend 9.5-hour clinical shifts (plus up to 3 hours of prep/paperwork), supervising students in the clinical and lab/simulation settings and evaluating students’ written clinical packets and other assignments. Responsibilities include facilitating the pediatric clinical experience across the curriculum, providing weekly feedback on clinical packets, conducting midterm and final evaluations for each student, assisting with clinical experiences in the nursing skills and simulation laboratory, supporting students and lab faculty, collaborating with other faculty to ensure aligned learning experiences, and maintaining standards of care and safety protocols. Requires active CT RN licensure or eligibility, MSN-level preparation, and is an adjunct position for Fall 2026 start; teaching experience with RN students is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- MSN-prepared
- Active license or eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Teaching experience with RN students preferred
- Pediatric clinical experience preferably 3-5 years
