PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Job Summary
Provide individual and family therapy for youth in the LGBTQ Program, conduct screening assessments, and complete case documentation in the Electronic Health Record. Participate in team and program-wide meetings, provide crisis intervention, and support therapeutic model implementation. Ensure compliance with SCO Family of Services, NYS, and federal standards while serving as a resource for program staff on youth functioning factors. Accept clinical assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- NYS license (LMSW/LCSW, LMHC, psychologist)
- Physical exam
- Clearance by NYS Central Register, NYS Justice Center, DMV (if licensed driver), and fingerprinting
- Ability to work late afternoons to early evenings
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Knowledge of trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment models
- Experience in multi-cultural environments working with underserved youth and their families
- Experience working with LGBTQ youth
