Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and deliver individual and group psychotherapy to clients referred by primary care clinicians and APRNs, including those in nursing home settings. Provide behavioral health consultation to the Interdisciplinary Team regarding psychiatric concepts and skills. Develop treatment plans emphasizing relational, behavioral, and affective functioning, then monitor client responses and adjust interventions as necessary. Document all interventions and rationales in the EHR while participating in program projects to enhance clinical practice and teamwork. Cover for colleagues when needed and serve as a role model for professional relationships and effective communication. Full-time M-F 8am to 4pm with no weekend or holiday hours. Requires a Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, or psychology, plus an MA LICSW or LMHC license and 2-5 years of psychotherapy experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling or psychology
- License to practice in the Commonwealth of MA as an LICSW or LMHC
- At least 2-5 years of experience in the practice of psychotherapy
- Evidence of competence in evaluation and treatment of older adults, including psychotherapy, crisis evaluations and consultation to caregivers
- At least 1 year of experience with elders
- Covid vaccine required
- Ability to pass a fit test
- Position requires mask where seal is critical
- Incumbent is required to not have facial hair that interferes with a tight seal of the respirator
