Job Summary

Psychotherapist position in Denver, CO offering outpatient mental health counseling to individuals, groups, families, and/or couples. Hybrid schedule with a combination of remote and in-office work at the organization’s office (3201 South Tamarac Dr., Denver 80231). Responsibilities include providing mental health treatment and case management, maintaining confidential records and required documentation, developing and updating treatment plans, and collaborating with other mental health professionals to assess and plan care. Additional duties include client advocacy, knowledge-building through professional literature, maintaining productivity per agency standards, attending staff meetings, and serving on agency committees. Required/preferred qualifications include a master’s or doctoral degree in counseling from a CACREP-accredited program, DSM-5 familiarity, EHR proficiency, CPR certification, and licensure eligibility (LCSW/LPC/LMFT/PsyD/PhD). COVID-19 vaccination is required, and the role involves in-office work with potential hybrid remote scheduling.

Required Qualifications

  • A master's or doctoral degree in counseling or a related field from a CACREP-accredited program.
  • Preferred three to five years of experience in individual, group, family, and/or couples' therapy.
  • Familiarity with the DSM-5 and diagnostic techniques.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid chart compliance requirements preferred.
  • Proficiency with Word and experience using electronic health records.
  • Ability to use email, client information database systems, and patient electronic medical record (EMR) software.
  • License preferred (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD).
  • All mental health clinicians must register with CAQH (Council for Affordable Quality Health) within seven days of date of hire.
