Job Summary
Provide recovery-oriented psychotherapy in long-term care settings (skilled nursing and/or assisted living) as part of an interdisciplinary team. Deliver group or individual therapy, develop and follow treatment plans, ensure clinical documentation within 48 hours, communicate with facility staff and primary care providers, maintain HIPAA compliance, and adhere to regulatory requirements. Roles include assessment of residents, development of medically necessary treatment plans, consultation with physicians and care staff, and ongoing coordination to support residents’ mental health and quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in psychology with current state license as a Health Services Provider for Psychologists (for psychologist track)
- Master’s degree in social work and current state license for social workers/therapists (LCSW, LISW, LPCC, LCMHC, LMFT) for therapist track
