Job Summary

Develop, monitor, and document individualized mental health treatment goals for adolescents with co-occurring psychiatric and medical needs through individual, group, milieu, and family psychotherapy. Conduct ongoing assessments to identify behavioral or psychiatric concerns interfering with rehabilitation and schedule 1–2 weekly individual sessions plus one family session per treatment plan expectations. Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences, coordinate interventions with the full care team, and provide timely clinical updates to the Program Director and Program Medical Director. Assist in establishing caseload and weekly group coverage while contributing to discharge planning and transitions to outpatient or community-based care. Maintain accurate documentation aligned with facility policies and present professionally to families and community partners. Provide staff guidance on de-escalation techniques and psychoeducation, stay current with emerging research, and participate in program development meetings to refine treatment fidelity.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree required in a behavioral health field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology)
  • Must hold one of the following: LPC or LCSW
  • BLS certification required (must remain current)
  • Must maintain all licensure and credentials in good standing throughout employment

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in an inpatient hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred
