Job Summary
As a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Worker (PSR), you will provide rehabilitative mental health services in a group home and community environments. Your role involves assisting clients in achieving treatment goals related to social competency, behavior management, effective communication, problem identification, and self-sufficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess own personal reliable transportation with current registration and valid Nevada State driver's license
- Must provide proof of liability car insurance with at least the minimum coverage required by the state of Nevada
- Must maintain Washoe County Clearance and submit the application packet within one week of accepting the position
- Obtain or maintain licensure and/or necessary certification and an NPI
- Must pass a background/FBI check
- B.A. in Psychology or related field
Additional Requirements
- Must work independently with minimal supervision
- Shifts are generally mid-day, evening, and weekend depending on client's need.
