Job Summary
Conduct daily clubhouse operations by managing food services, facility maintenance, and employment vocational training units while fostering member ownership. Assist members with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and transportation to medical, job-related, or community appointments. Support individual recovery goals through documentation of progress, behavioral change, and Individual Plans of Service. Coordinate with local employers for supported employment models and represent the organization to the community and relatives. Ensure member safety through adequate supervision and emergency duties while complying with Medicaid, Medicare, and HIPAA regulations. Maintain current skills through job-related training and complete assigned tasks using required software applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Minimum of one year experience with adults who have been diagnosed as having serious mental illness
- Ability to work in a complex, detail-oriented, deadline structured, busy organization
- Frequent lifting or carrying up to 15 pounds
- Ability to hear
- Ability to stand and walk going up and down stairs
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and/or phone
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret information
- Ability to write reports, correspondence and procedures
- Ability to maintain consumer charts/records
- Ability to define and solve practical problems
- Ability to collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to influence others
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and such other applications if/when required
- Ability to be trained and successfully complete other computer training as required
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of current automobile insurance
- Driving record determined by the Authority's insurance carrier to be eligible for coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Clubhouse experience
- Course work in behavioral programming
