Job Summary
Provide one-on-one ABA services to children with Autism in clients' homes or in community-based locations, using evidence-based interventions to support independence and positive behavior. Implement skill-building and care plans as part of the clinical team; record session data using electronic devices; foster a positive learning environment and engage with families. No prior experience needed; comprehensive training provided. Part-time schedule with flexible hours (Mon-Fri 3:30pm-7pm, weekends available). Requires completion of the 40-hour RBT course and a 6-month commitment. Great fit for individuals pursuing psychology or related fields; experience in education, childcare, or youth mentorship is helpful; benefits include paid training, sign-on and referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations
- Must complete the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course
- Willing to make a 6-month commitment to the role
