Job Summary
Teach on-site at Fort Meade, MD, for the Psychology program, covering courses such as Psychology of Gender and Psychology of Stress. Actively engage students through frequent interaction, guide them in active collaboration and project-based learning demonstrations, and provide rich, regular constructive feedback utilizing rubrics. Demonstrate relevant subject-matter expertise to help students connect concepts across their academic program and provide feedback to the program chair on possible curricular improvements. Complete the required two-week online new faculty orientation as a condition of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Professional experience in Psychology or related field
- This position is specifically to teach on-site at Fort Meade, MD
- Each new faculty member is required to successfully complete our online two-week new faculty orientation, FacDev 411, as a condition of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred
- Terminal degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Cover letter highly preferred
