Psychology In-Person Instructor - Adjunct

The General Education (GE) Instructor is responsible for providing quality instruction to students that meet program and course objectives, maintaining an organized classroom environment conducive to learning, and imparting the requirements of the relevant workplace setting to current students. Requires understanding of education environments for adult learners, ability to foster a positive learning environment, knowledge of professional career paths for which students are enrolled, motivation and enthusiasm for teaching, and strong organizational/communication skills. Master’s Degree required with 2+ years’ instructional experience preferred, plus at least 15 semester credit hours in related subjects supporting the GE curriculum. Position is Adjunct, hourly, non-exempt with hours generally under 25 per week. Location: Alhambra, CA; generally in-person instruction with no guaranteed hours. Involves scheduling through module courses and completion of a full online application package including transcripts and degree documentation.
