Psychology Adjunct Instructor

Job Summary
Organizes and conducts on-campus Psychology classes, develops lesson plans, evaluates student progress toward goals and learning outcomes, advises students, and supports recruitment, retention, job placement efforts, and the program advisory board. Maintains syllabi, lesson plans, tests, and related documentation; ensures compliance with college safety requirements; communicates progress to students and staff; and participates in staff development, conferences, and professional literature to stay current in the field. May teach high school students, evenings or weekends, and travel as needed within the service area. Demonstrates current knowledge of the subject and effective written and oral communication; proficient in general computer skills and Microsoft Office; performs other duties as assigned in support of Columbus Technical College’s mission.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Psychology from a regionally accredited college or university OR Master’s Degree with concentration in Psychology (18 graduate hours/27 graduate quarter hours)
