Job Summary
Licensed doctoral-psychologist needed for outpatient mental health program in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Role provides individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT, ACT, DBT, trauma-informed approaches) to clients across ages, with telehealth and in-office options. Collaborates with psychiatrists, case managers, and other professionals; participates in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development; maintains accurate documentation and complies with licensing and HIPAA requirements. Requires Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling and a current license (or license-eligible). Part-time to start with potential to build to full-time; 1099 Independent Contract with potential for W2. EHR experience, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team are essential. Required Qualifications
- Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling from an accredited program
- Current state license (or license-eligible) as a psychologist
- Experience with individual, group, and family therapy
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
- Knowledge of HIPAA and mandated reporting requirements
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience with psychological testing/diagnostic assessments (Preferred)
- Interest in applied research (Preferred)
- Ability to develop programs/trainings in area of interest
