Job Summary
Psychologist to join Wellstar's PCBHI Behavioral Health Consultant team in the Primary Care setting. Responsibilities include applying evidence-based screenings, risk assessments, and brief interventions; collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other behavioral health professionals; providing consultations to medical staff to coordinate patient care; assisting patients in accessing community resources for specialty mental health; and delivering interventions across the lifespan within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program
- Current Georgia License as a Psychologist
- Three years' experience in a health-related field, mental health, and behavioral health
Desired Qualifications

- Current Georgia License as a Psychologist
- Three years of experience in a health-related, mental health, or behavioral health field
- Experience in ambulatory or hospital settings preferred
- Crisis Intervention and brief evidenced-based interventions experience
- Experience working with patients across the lifespan
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Knowledge of biopsychosocial model
- Proficiency with Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
