Job Summary
Psychologist - Telehealth role delivering VR-supported therapy for children, adolescents and adults across Australia. Conducting comprehensive initial assessments to determine telehealth/VR suitability, delivering evidence-based therapy (including VR-supported therapy), supporting emotional regulation, confidence, social skills and wellbeing, monitoring progress, preparing reports for referring parties, and collaborating with families and other professionals. Requires full AHPRA registration, Medicare Provider Number and WWCC (or willingness to obtain), telehealth experience or willingness to develop, and an interest in VR in psychology. Remote work from anywhere in Australia with ongoing training and professional collaboration; benefits include remote work and access to a multidisciplinary team; preparation of assessments, progress notes, and summaries; maintaining professional standards and registration.
Required Qualifications
- Full registration with AHPRA as a psychologist
- Located in Australia with full working rights
- Medicare Provider Number and Working With Children Check clearance, or willingness to obtain
- Experience or interest in working with children and adolescents, including neurodiverse clients
- Experience delivering therapy via telehealth, or willingness to develop skills in this area
- Suitable work-from-home setup with high-speed internet
- Understanding of the NDIS framework and goal-based therapy approaches
- Interest in emerging technology and the role of VR in psychology practice
