Job Summary
Psychologist role at Williamtown Health Centre (30km north of Newcastle, NSW) provides high-quality mental health care to Defence members within a civilian role on-base, including conducting fitness-for-duty assessments, formulating treatment plans, and leading group education in a multidisciplinary clinical environment; requires unrestricted AHPRA registration, CPD commitment, CPR certification, and security clearance eligibility, with standard on-site hours and benefits such as paid CPD leave, admin time, and uniforms.
Required Qualifications
- Unrestricted AHPRA general registration as a Psychologist
- Minimum two years’ post-graduate experience within last five years in mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting
- Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in ‘Focused Psychological Strategies’ and ‘Psychological Therapy’ as per Medicare Schedule
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
- Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security Clearance
- Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
