Psychologist Reviewer - ABA

Collaborate with providers, BCBAs, and Medical Directors to determine appropriateness of care levels based on Medical Necessity Criteria for Applied Behavior Analysis and related services. Conduct pre-certification, concurrent review, and appeals of Behavioral Health OP services while partnering with internal staff and external providers to ensure consistent utilization of plan benefits and clinical guidelines. Mentor Behavioral Health Care Management staff through training, utilization management rounds, and interdepartmental initiatives to develop programs around psychological and neuropsychological testing. Requires Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology with managed care experience, an active unrestricted license, and strong collaboration with ABA clinicians. Full-time virtual role based in Colorado, Virginia, Massachusetts, or Maryland, with a salary range of $93,120 to $160,632.
