Psychologist

Provide evidence-based psychology services to adult inpatient clients with Intellectual Developmental Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and cooccurring psychiatric conditions through individual therapy, group therapy, skills training, and behavior plan implementation. Conduct assessments including psychological, cognitive, ADHD, autism, dementia, and adaptive functioning evaluations. Model and provide crisis risk assessment, de-escalation, and response while assessing challenging behavior and designing behavioral treatment plans. Train staff in Positive Behavior Support methodology and serve on Interdisciplinary Teams. Deliver 202B.040 involuntary admission evaluations and provide court testimony. Opportunities exist within the Autism Outpatient Clinic for child and adult assessments and community provider consultation.
