Job Summary
Provide clinical and consultation services consistent with professional standards, including diagnosis, treatment, psychological testing, and crisis intervention. Conduct direct clinical services to inmate patients in correctional or detention facilities while ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards of care. Develop and implement goals for clinical services, assist in staff recruitment and selection, and provide professional education for serious incidents. Offer clinical supervision and guidance to mental health professionals assisting the team.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in psychology
- Experience with mental health delivery systems
- Significant professional experience in the mental field that indicates knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders
- Knowledge of psychological evaluation techniques
- Knowledge of psychological assessment instruments
- Licensed to practice psychology in the State of employment by the appropriate state licensing agency
