Job Summary
Provide psychological evaluations and assessments, individual psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions for residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across Florida. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, address depression, anxiety, dementia-related behaviors, and other mental health concerns in an interdisciplinary team, while maintaining compliant clinical documentation. Offer flexible scheduling and operate as a licensed clinician in a private-practice-like, contract role (1099) with mileage reimbursement opportunities. Doctoral degree in psychology and active Florida license required; experience with older adults or long-term care preferred. Join a well-established geriatric behavioral health practice serving over 100 communities.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.) from an accredited institution
- Active Florida Psychologist License, or eligibility for licensure in Florida
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with older adults or within long-term care settings is preferred but not required
