Job Summary
Psychologist to provide psychosocial support services in Aswan, Egypt, under SCI Egypt’s MHPSS program. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group counselling sessions for UASC and at-risk children and youth, performing assessments, developing individualized intervention plans, coordinating with MEAL and case management teams, referring severe cases to appropriate services, documenting case progress, and attending supervision. Will implement evidence-based psychosocial interventions, support emergency responses, and ensure safeguarding and high-quality psychosocial care in line with SCI guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree in psychology
- 2-3 years of experience in family and/or child counselling, experience with migrants and refugees is an asset
- Excellent written and oral communication in Arabic and English
- Experience delivering trainings
- Commitment to safeguarding and SCI values
