Job Summary
Conduct biopsychosocial exams and psychological, developmental, and cognitive-deficit assessments, including test administration and interpretation, for veterans and active-duty military personnel. Gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record reviews, interviews, and face-to-face examinations to develop a medical opinion on the likelihood that a condition is related to military service. Prepare intake and case summaries while maintaining confidential records and charting treatment progress in accordance with state, federal, and facility regulations. This role supports the timely processing of Veterans' claims by the VBA.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in Psychology (Ph.D, PsyD)
- Graduate of an APA accredited program
- Active and unrestricted psychologist license in state
- Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation
