Job Summary
RN needed at Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles to provide patient-centered psychiatric care for adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, closely monitoring patient progress, responding to crises, and employing de-escalation techniques to maintain safety. Collaborates with physicians, therapists, social workers, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to support treatment goals and continuity of care. Provides education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing
- Licensed RN in Louisiana
- One year RN experience preferred
