Job Summary
Psychiatry Physician - Adult Inpatient for Geisinger and Acadia Healthcare joint venture facilities in central and northeastern Pennsylvania. Work in a clinical/office environment providing inpatient psychiatric care to adults, with services including Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, and Brain Stimulation Therapy. Patients present with Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma-Related Disorders, Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder, Substance-Use Disorders. Role uses EPIC electronic medical records. Onsite practice only. Must hold an MD or DO and be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. Facilities are equipped for acute care with inpatient beds and ongoing program development.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (Required)
- Licensure: Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
