Job Summary
Inpatient Psychiatrist sought to lead team-based care in a 40-bed adult unit in Sanford, ME. Role supports full-time and per diem physicians, collaborating with NPs, social workers, and behavioral health staff. Requires MD/DO, internship and psychiatric residency/fellowship, Maine licensure eligibility, ABPN certification or eligibility, and DEA registration; 3+ years’ experience. A mission-driven, integrated behavioral health system, MaineHealth offers a collaborative environment with emphasis on continuity of care and credentialing per Medical Staff By-laws. Location: York County, Maine; on-site inpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training
- Current or eligible licensure by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine
- Board Certified or board eligible in psychiatry or eligible for ABPN examination
- DEA Registration Certificate
- 3+ years' experience including residency/fellowship training
- Credentialing per Medical Staff By-laws
