Job Summary
Join a pioneering psychiatry residency program as a Psychiatry Core Faculty member in partnership with Texas A&M University and Shannon Medical Center. Contribute to an inaugural program, collaborate with established institutions, and explore leadership opportunities including potential role as Psychiatry Program Director. Provide care to a diverse patient population across Shannon’s 25-county service area, including the 80-bed inpatient facility, with opportunities to focus on Substance Use Disorders, Eating Disorders, ECT, or other interventional treatments. Be part of a foundational team with experienced faculty and shape the future of psychiatric care in an academic, hospital-based setting.
Required Qualifications
- Psychiatry residency core faculty
- psychiatrist
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- licensure to practice psychiatry
- experience or interest in Substance Use Disorders, Eating Disorders, ECT, or interventional treatments encouraged
