Psychiatry Clinical Program Manager

Job Summary

Provide outpatient psychiatry services including diagnostic assessments, crisis intervention, therapy, and care coordination while maintaining a caseload that meets productivity expectations. Oversee clinical performance for department staff through supervision, mentorship, and documentation audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations. Collaborate with primary care providers and interdisciplinary teams to optimize referral workflows and implement evidence-based practices for integrated, whole-person care. Allocate time between direct patient access and program development to support quality improvement initiatives and staff professional growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed by the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse
  • Certified by the State of Oregon as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (PMHNP-BC)
  • Prescriptive privileges
  • Ability to be credentialed with Medicaid, Medicare, private and other insurance
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Provider Basic Life Support Card (BLS) within 2 weeks of start date
  • Graduation from an approved school of medicine with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Completion of an approved residency program in psychiatry
  • Board certified as a psychiatrist or the ability to become board certified within 3 months
  • Current license in good standing with the Oregon Medical Board
  • Experience with electronic health records
  • Must be fiscally focused and mission driven
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention Comprehensive training class completed within 6 months of hire
  • Recertified prior to the expiration date
  • Current American Health Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Card (BLS) or within 6 months of hire
  • TB (test upon hire)
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds infrequently
  • Able to travel as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • 2-5 years' management and supervisory experience
  • Experience providing case management and psychiatry services in a community setting with at-risk populations
  • Trauma related certification in EMDR, EFT, ACT, CBT, DBT
