Job Summary
As a Psychiatry Account Manager, lead the promotion of the psychiatry portfolio and execute sales and marketing strategies with comprehensive clinical knowledge to drive sales performance. Build and maintain productive internal and external relationships based on customer needs, conduct local market and therapeutic area analyses to uncover opportunities, address reimbursement dynamics, and ensure regulatory compliance with FDA and Lundbeck policies. Travel up to 30-40% domestically to engage with the customer base and internal teams. Requires a BA/BS, 2+ years of healthcare sales experience, strong communication, data-driven planning, and the ability to operate within territory boundaries within Idaho.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.
- Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including being certified on product knowledge annually.
- Self-starter, with a strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
- Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
- Driving is an essential duty of this job; must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Meeting and complying with reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers / customer facilities is required for continued employment with Lundbeck.
