Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessments, diagnostic workups, and treatment planning for patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction via telehealth. Manage medication and provide safety planning while documenting evidence-based care in the Rula EHR. Deliver initial 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups, utilizing the integrated psychotherapy add-on when medically necessary. Work with the Support and Care Coordination teams to handle credentialing, billing, and higher-level care requests. Maintain a clean professional record and unrestricted DEA registration. As an independent contractor, set your own schedule with bi-weekly direct deposit and full protection for late cancellations.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO License
- Board-certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO)
- active, unrestricted state medical license
- Valid, unrestricted state specific DEA registration with Schedules II-V
- Active state Prescription Monitoring Program (PDMP) registration
- Clean Professional Record: No adverse actions, disciplinary history, or license restrictions with any state medical board, hospital, or credentialing body in the past
- No suspension, exclusion, or debarment from federal healthcare programs (Medicare/Medicaid)
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care and safety planning
- Comfortable and proficient delivering outpatient care via telehealth (including EMR navigation, virtual rapport building, and remote crisis management)
- Commitment to timely, individualized, evidence-based documentation for every patient
- 3 to 5 years
- Provide clinical assessments for patients seeking mental healthcare, including diagnostic assessments, psychiatric workups, and treatment planning, including medication management
- Work with individuals who are struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction
- Have access to our EHR & telehealth platform
- Receive support from our Support and Care Coordination teams
- Have adequate time to engage with patients - half-hour sessions for follow-up visits and 1 hour for initial consultations
- Be free to focus on patient care

- This includes setting up your Rula profile and educating you on our guidelines and HIPAA-compliant EHR system

- Further, we have a dedicated Support team so you and your patients have the help you need when you need it
- Clinical leadership: Rula's executive team includes a licensed provider engaged in business decisions and planning, ensuring the provider perspective is always included
- Fully compliant and ethical: We are fully compliant with HIPAA and have a Medical Records team to handle all releases, audits, or record requests
- Our practices align with your professional Code of Ethics and all regulatory requirements
- Clinical support: Our Care Coordination team manages Higher Level of Care requests for your patients
