Job Summary
Site Psychiatrist role at Hazel D. Plant Women's Treatment Facility in Delaware (Part-Time 8 hours/week). Provides onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for inmates, supervision and training of site staff, creation and monitoring of treatment and discharge plans, and involvement in behavioral health programming and staffing. Requires medical school graduate with psychiatric residency, Delaware license, OBH certification for inpatient services, and a current DEA number. Responsibilities include medication management, individual/group therapy, admissions/discharges oversight, and participation in treatment planning and program development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of medical school
- Completed psychiatric residency
- Licensed to practice in the state of Delaware
- Certified by the Office of Behavioral Health to provide psychiatric services in a licensed inpatient unit
- Current DEA number
