Job Summary
Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to diagnose and treat mental health disorders, developing personalized treatment plans and prescribing psychotropic medications. Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches while educating patients and families on treatment options and coping strategies. Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, and nurses in case conferences and treatment planning meetings, responding to psychiatric emergencies through timely crisis intervention. Maintain a valid DOH medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi with board certification in Psychiatry.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Valid DOH medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi
- Years of post-residency experience in psychiatry
- Proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapeutic techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of mental health regulations and standards in Abu Dhabi
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about advancements in psychiatry
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and diverse healthcare environment
- Fluency in English
Desired Qualifications
