Job Summary

Review and accept referrals to the partial hospitalization program, then complete initial psychiatric evaluations to guide treatment and medication decisions. Prescribe and monitor medications while providing psychiatric reassessments as needed during client enrollment. Offer consultation and education to treatment staff regarding medication use as part of each client's regimen. Maintain timely and accurate paperwork, including Medi-Cal documentation. Provide coverage for other psychiatrists and campuses as needed via telehealth. This role supports the STEP program, which delivers intensive stabilization services to youth ages 12-17 to help them transition to lower levels of outpatient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Board eligibility or certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Active California Medical License
  • Current and Valid DEA Certificate
  • Successful completion of Seneca's credentialing process
  • Proof of liability insurance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy
  • TB test clearance
  • Fingerprinting clearance
  • Any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
