Psychiatrist

Provide psychiatric services to the Partial Hospitalization Program for youth ages 12-17 in Petaluma, CA. Responsibilities include reviewing referrals to the PHP, completing initial psychiatric evaluations to guide treatment and medication decisions, prescribing and monitoring medications, and providing psychiatric reassessments as needed. Offer consultation and education to the treatment staff on medication use, and provide coverage for other psychiatrists and campuses via telehealth. Maintain timely paperwork including Medi-Cal documentation. Schedule: contracted, up to 16 hours/week, hybrid (in-person with some telehealth). Benefits include compensation ranges ($240-$265/hour, depending on board status), with additional pay for bilingual proficiency. Requirements include board eligibility or certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, active California medical license, DEA certificate, liability insurance, driving eligibility, TB test and fingerprinting clearance, and completion of Seneca’s credentialing process. This role is part of Seneca Family of Agencies’ STEP program serving youth in a multidisciplinary team across campuses, with remote/hybrid work options and flexible scheduling.
