Job Summary
Psychiatrist part-time role within Crisis Care Center focusing on crisis stabilization services including evaluation, coordination of care, supervision of providers, discharge planning, and leadership in quality improvement across the program. Requires medical degree, psychiatry board certification, and Michigan licensure with DEA, plus patient-care and administrative responsibilities spanning crisis care modalities, collaboration with mobile crisis and advanced practice providers, and participation in committees and program oversight.
Required Qualifications
- A Medical Degree from an accredited School of Medicine
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Three (3) years of experience in a Mental Health Program with experience in policy writing, accreditation activities, staff development, and peer review management of direct report staff
- A valid and current Michigan License to practice as a physician
- A valid and current Michigan controlled substance license
- Valid and current Drug Enforcement Agency Registration
- A valid State of Michigan Driver’s License with a safe and acceptable driving record
- NOTE: Additional Board certification in Child and Adolescent psychiatry is preferred
