Psychiatrist Position with Administrative & Clinical Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with behavioral health and substance use disorders. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy interventions. Conduct patient rounds, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care planning and discharge coordination, and perform advanced risk assessments for complex cases. Supervise and mentor psychiatrists, physicians, psychologists, therapists, social workers, and nursing staff. Participate in case conferences, grand rounds, staff education, quality assurance, and utilization review. Assist with clinical program development, policy discussions, and operational planning. Attend court hearings and provide clinical testimony when required. Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system. Board-Certified Psychiatrist, 40-hour full-time, Connecticut.
