Job Summary
Psychiatrist on the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) in Raleigh, NC, part-time (24 hours per week). Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management; deliver outpatient psychotherapy in community settings; apply evidence-based practices; coordinate integrated care across mental health, substance use, and primary healthcare; guide clinical decision-making and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support stability, recovery, and independence for individuals in the community.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with an active, unrestricted NC license
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- 5+ years experience treating individuals with mental illness
- Expertise in treating serious mental illness (Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar I Disorder with Psychosis)
- Experience working with Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) or community-based care
