Job Summary
Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and consultation services to patients in outpatient settings, Memory Clinic, and primary care centers. Lead psychiatric care teams, conduct multidisciplinary meetings, and precept medical students monthly. Deliver didactic presentations, lead seminar series, and contribute to the third-year core Psychiatry clerkship curriculum. Pursue independent research, apply for grants, and participate in quality improvement projects to reduce health disparities. Serve on departmental committees and provide ongoing faculty evaluations. Maintain accurate clinical records within the EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency program
- Eligibility or possession of an unrestricted medical license
- DEA
- Controlled Substance Registration in Pennsylvania
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the AOBNP or ABPN
