Job Summary
Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations to determine medication and treatment needs for youth and families with complex needs. Prescribe and monitor medications regularly while providing consultation and education to treatment staff regarding medication use. Maintain timely and accurate paperwork, including Medi-Cal documentation, and provide coverage for other psychiatrists within the region via telehealth as needed. Serve as a clinical resource to program staff and collaborate with county partners to promote safety and stability. Work Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, in a hybrid schedule across Anaheim, Lake Forest, and Santa Ana.
Required Qualifications
- Board-eligible Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist
- Board certification in General Psychiatry
- Board-certified Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
- Bilingual language proficiency
