Job Summary
Manage a fully virtual Partial Hospital Program treating adults with mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, substance use, and personality disorders. Deliver care to an average of 10 patients daily, with capacity for 8–12 depending on census. Provide clinical teaching and academic appointment opportunities at Brown University while maintaining an option for outpatient work. Support the robust Behavioral Health team of 12 psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and trainees. Handle weekend inpatient call rotations every 8 weeks at RI Hospital. Requires full-time M-F hours (8:00a–4:00p), medical licensure in RI and MA, and J1/H1-B visa eligibility for 2026 placement.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified or eligible psychiatrist
- Full time
- Work M-F, 8:00a-4:00p
- Call 1 weekend every 8 weeks (inpatient psychiatry at RI Hospital)
- Treat 8-12 patients per day depending on overall census for an average census of 10 patients
- Potential for clinical teaching and academic appointment to Brown University
- Option to also work in an outpatient setting
- J1 & H1-B visa friendly
- Available in 2026
- Requires medical license (or eligible) in RI and MA
