Job Summary
Part-time telehealth psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults with substance use disorder and co-occurring conditions in a residential treatment setting. Day-shift coverage totals 12 hours per week with a caseload of about 5 patients per day, serving patients via telehealth from a Northern Vermont residential facility. Prescriptive authority is required. Clinical focus includes substance use disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, and transition into independent living. Telehealth delivery and remote supervision support are integral components of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification is required
- Prescriptive authority is required
- MD license (or equivalent) in good standing
- Experience with telehealth is preferred
- Ability to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults with substance use disorders in a residential setting
- Part-time availability (12 hours/week)
- Telehealth delivery of care
