Job Summary
Part-time telehealth psychiatry for young adults in a residential treatment setting. Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management to patients with substance use disorder and co-occurring conditions, delivered remotely to a residential facility, with an approximate caseload of 5 patients per day across a 12-hour per week schedule. Prescriptive authority is required. Duties include conducting assessments, coordinating care, and managing medications for on-site residents in a residential program in Vermont, with telehealth services extending to patients located in the facility. Requires board certification in psychiatry and an active medical license.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Prescriptive authority
- Telehealth/remote psychiatry experience
- Active medical license in the United States
- Part-time availability (12 hours/week)
- Experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders
- Caseload management (approx. 5 patients/day)
- Prescriptive authority required for psychotropic management
