Job Summary
Locum tenens outpatient psychiatry role in Central California delivering remote telehealth services. Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults with schedule-appropriate follow-ups (30, 60, or 90 minutes) and document within three business days using the SmartCare EMR.Caseload includes 8-10 adults per day; shift is 40 hours per week, fully remote via telehealth with an outpatient focus in a community mental health setting. The facility is located near Friant, CA, and delivers care through telepsychiatry in a structured environment.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO (Medical Doctor)
- Board Certification Negotiable
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry
- Telehealth/remote care experience
- Proficiency with EMR systems (SmartCare)
- Ability to perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults
- Strong documentation practices (within 3 business days)
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
