Psychiatrist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Outpatient Clinic in Indio,California

Conduct full-time outpatient psychiatric services for adult patients in a correctional setting, Monday through Friday on a 4 x 10-hour day schedule totaling 40 hours per week. Perform initial psychiatric evaluations lasting 60-90 minutes and medication management follow-up appointments of 20-30 minutes for routine community mental health conditions and severely and persistently mentally ill patients. Complete all administrative documentation within the workday, as adequate time is built into the schedule. Call coverage is negotiable for this assignment. This role serves the Coachella Valley region's criminal justice system through inmate intake, housing, medical services, rehabilitation programming, and re-entry support.
