Job Summary
Provide remote, outpatient psychiatric care for adults via telehealth (40 hours/week). Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management, with follow-up visits scheduled at 30, 60, or 90 minutes. Document within three business days using concurrent documentation practices during appointments. Case load 8-10 patients; requires use of SmartCare EMR. Full-time locum tenens assignment in Central California remote setting; shift is day shift with 40 hours weekly. Eligible clinicians will perform 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute medication checks for ongoing psychiatric care; overall focus on adult population in a telehealth, outpatient environment.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification Negotiable (psychiatry)
- MD/DO licensed to practice psychiatry in the US
- ability to work in a telehealth/remote setting
- proficiency with SmartCare EMR
- capacity to provide 60-minute initial evaluations and 30/60/90-minute follow-ups
