Job Summary
Inpatient psychiatry locum-tenens coverage for adult patients on a 48-bed licensed behavioral health unit in Indiana. Provide psychiatric evaluations and manage medications on a 14-day on/off schedule with call. Full-time 40-hour shift with on-site work, for ongoing coverage at an acute inpatient facility. Facility operates an acute psychiatric unit and seeks continuity of psychiatric care delivery; case load is variable with support from 1 psychiatrist and 2 inpatient NPs.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree (psychiatry)
- Board certification (negotiable)
- Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
- Licensed to practice medicine in Indiana or ability to obtain license
- Ability to provide 40 hours per week
- Call coverage experience preferred
