Job Summary
Inpatient psychiatry coverage for adults at a 48-bed licensed behavioral health unit. Provide inpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management on a 14-day on/off schedule with call coverage. On-site assignment in Indiana (facility near Carmel, IN). Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and delivering structured inpatient psychiatric care in an adult population setting. Shift: Day shift with call; assignment type: locum tenens/contract; 40 hours per week. Board-certification is negotiable per facility needs.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent
- Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry
- Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
- Ability to manage adult inpatient population
- Full-time commitment (40 hours)
- Locum tenens experience preferred
