Job Summary
Provide telehealth psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up visits for adults with severe mental illness in an outpatient setting. Conduct initial 60- to 90-minute evaluations and 30-, 60-, or 90-minute follow-ups as needed, with concurrent documentation in the SmartCare EMR completed within three business days. Full-time locum-tenens assignment Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, treating adults and delivering care through a structured telepsychiatry framework using established protocols.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- Board Certification Negotiable
- Licensure in California or ability to obtain
- Telehealth experience preferred
- Experience treating adults with severe mental illness
