Job Summary
Implement high-quality psychiatric services for private pay, county, and hospital clients while providing medical supervision and staff training under general direction. Monitor company goals regarding quality assurance, disease management, and clinical outcomes, then execute ongoing quality, compliance, and safety plans to mitigate complex risk issues. Develop and evaluate clinical practice protocols in collaboration with staff, ensuring documentation is entered into the Harmony Medical database within three business days. Participate in clinical information system development and work within company policies to build organizational image. Requires a medical degree, board certification, and four years of supervisory experience; Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (psychiatry)
- Board Certification
- four years' supervisory experience
- Completion of physician executive leadership coursework
- management skills training
- A current professional medical license issued by the State of California Medical Board
- an active DEA number
- A valid California driver's license
- current automobile insurance
- a good driving record as documented by a DMV report
- a 'valid' standard first aid card
- CPR card from an accredited institution
- physically able to assist clients and /or staff in the evacuation of program facility in emergency situations
- Must be able to administer first aid and CPR in an emergency situation if assigned to a residential facility
- Must be able to meet and receive criminal record clearance as required by Title XXII, licensing regulations
