Job Summary
Conduct virtual behavioral health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and follow-up sessions via secure telehealth platforms. Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care. Perform medication management, prescribe, and oversee psychopharmacology treatment plans if licensed as a psychiatrist. Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress. Collaborate with an integrated care team including physicians, PMHNPs, therapists, and social workers. Maintain accurate, timely documentation within 24 hours and stay current with best practices in behavioral health. Deliver comprehensive services to diverse patient populations with flexible scheduling and contractor autonomy.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Psychologist license
- Active California medical license + DEA
- Active California Behavioral Health license
- Strong communication and clinical judgment
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Organized and timely with documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience providing therapy via telehealth preferred
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Experience with telepsychiatry preferred
- Skilled in delivering evidence-based therapy
- Comfortable practicing independently
